Funky Fairies Challenge Week 35 Oddles of Doodles

Well its a long time no blog from me
Now life seems to be settling back to normal around here ( for now anyway) and I have no more holiday planned (execpt maybe one in October for my birthday and them maybe one in November ..lol) I thought it was about time I got back into crafting.
Anyway here is my DT piece for Funky Fairies . I used the Gorjuss Ginghams and the Matt Blocks

Funky Faries Challenge 17 Circles and Buttons

I made this card for the funky fairys challenge blog
with the Cherish range printed directly onto the card, Close up it realy shows of the lovley texture of the card and the circles go so well with it

I then used more cherish papers (I love these papers) to mat and layer the circles for the image and the threaded punched ribbon slider ..if thats what its called..lol

Watch out for the postied Dragonllew ;)

This is a card a I made for son's GF for her Sister who is madly in love with Zak Efron
I used some of the downloads from Funky Fairies to try and get used to the colours
before I jump right in with a challenge

New Site

I have strated a new board called
Crafty Place
We will be setting challenges each month as well as card and ATC swaps.
There are areas for freebies and well as general chat areas to pass on your tips and recomendations.
Its yet to be finalised but ther will be a good prize for the first months challenge ( theme yet to be decided) Each challenge and swap will run for a month to start off with so even busy crafters should be able to fit us in

Baby Booties

This is what I made last night
I made the 2 because I am sure I wont have time once she goes into labour so best be prepared..lol
Its the first time I have made these booties and I am reasonably pleased with how they turned out.

Book A Trix Card

I made this card tody. Its an order from my frends work
It wasnt my first choice of card to make but I just coudnt ind the design I was looking for. Its turned out OK but I would have liked more time to work on it.
It was a bit of a rush job as it needed to be round my friends by tonight
The matting blocks are great from a site called Funky Fairys Paper Craft I found by following a link on Sues blog . Thank you Sue its a great site
I was going to buy the Nesties to do these but these were only £1.50 so a great saving.

MSE Credit Crunch Card

This is my card for the credit crunch MSE challenge
The cost is
10p for the card and envelope
3 printed papers @ 5p per page but I got 2 card out of the 3 pages so thats 7.5p per card
The blue and white card are scraps from my scrap tub which as some in now because my sweet little nephews not been for awhile to play "sticky"
total for the card is 17.5p which I will sell for £2.50 :)
Im not sure if I should inculde the cost of the image it off a CD called Messy Rabbit which I brought for £15 off ebay its got over 800 images on

Two Orders

These are 2 orders I had for mens cards

Hi everyone popping in again.
This is what I have been upto for the past few days
I decided to make small gifts for all the family for when the new baby arrives, Which can be any day now.
I couldnt do girl/boy ones because the parents dont want to know until it arrives so I had to stick to colours that hopefuly will suit both
They were made out of 1 sheet of 12 x 12 paper Maze Book

This is my now tidy craft room and all my new storage things I brought yesterday

Its so tidy now I dont want to use it and mess it all up...lol

Creative Card Crew Challenge

Glad you popped in to take a look

I found this one really difficult, Its supprising how much we need :) our papers

All I did with this was draw swirls and fill them in with gems, Then mounted it on fine glitter card and some pearl card. The stems are just thing pieces of card and them finished off with a bow

I use some PaperMania papers ( sorry cant remember the name of the pack)
Basic grey brads in the corners which dont realy show on the sentiment block.
